Press your flowers and plants and print them with cyan sunlight

Botanical Cyanotype

Botanical Cyanotyping was popularized in the 19th century by botanist Anna Atkins and has become an illustration technique today for which you don’t need a printer or know how to draw, you just need sunlight, plants and flowers. This kit is a tribute to Anna Atkins with which you can create your own cyanotypes by pressing your own plants and flowers.
With this kit you will learn to press your plants and flowers and then create your cyanotypes with them, you will learn to prepare the solutions, create the photoliths, master the insolation (exposure to light) and stamp your images, or prints with plants in blue.

This kit includes:

  • pocket scissors
  • Brown paper for drying flowers
