Football Editions was started by Mike Willows and Wayne Trevor Townsend, founders of NotOnSundays. With all things football related this is a creative platform to appreciate the past and current greats of the beautiful game but not forgetting the amateurs either.
Thanks to a wonderful goal from the halfway line, 20 years ago David Beckham became a footballing icon, a real brand, during his international debut with the English team. More recently, many other great athletes, from Micheal Jordan to Tiger Woods, have built their own brand empires through the creation of a graphic icon. So, if the World Cup stars from the past were still in the game today, what their logo would look like?
